In Maidstone, Kent, self-employed divorcee and Mum of two Jo moved heaven and earth to buy her 1970’s detached house. Now however, the space doesn’t work for her and her children. She has a kitchen diner with nowhere to dine, a vast living room used almost exclusively for toy storage and two grown-up bedrooms stuck in a time warp with inadequate storage. Cue Sarah who installs her monitoring cameras, generates a dramatic new floor plan and redesigns both adult bedrooms. Question is: can Jo get past the panic that Sarah’s ideas produce?
