Mel and Marc,
Epsom
Mel and Marc live in a 1930's semi in Epsom. They have busy jobs in community and well-being work but what really needs attention is their ground floor. Marc is a passionate cook and the couple would like to host informal supper clubs. But the kitchen is boxy, Mel and Marc are of very different heights and the dining area is cut off from both kitchen and garden where they want to eat al fresco. Using the key ingredients of her monitoring cameras and life-size floor plans, Sarah Beeny cooks up a dramatic new layout and design.
