After twenty years living and working abroad, Mel and Iwan bought a country house in Surrey and decorated it in traditional style. But two spaces went untouched: a 1970's kitchen with no space to eat or socialise and a dark breakfast room now home to their rescue dogs. Cue Sarah who installs monitoring cameras, creates life-size floor plans and generates a contemporary layout and design. Can they successfully build a modern space that works with the rest of their home?
